Electronic Signatures and Records

Brands' Lab works by email and through its website. This notice explains how acceptances and agreements made that way are recorded, and what they are worth.

1. Agreeing electronically

You may accept a quote, an order or an agreement by replying to our email. That is a valid way to agree, as Egypt's Electronic Signature Law (Law 15 of 2004) recognises, and you agree not to contest an acceptance only because it was made electronically.

2. What we record

For every acceptance we record who accepted, the email address used, the time, and the fingerprint of the document sent. When the website later carries an acceptance button, this notice will say so before it does. These records are kept in a ledger whose entries are chained so that a change would show.

3. What a record proves

Our records are our evidence of what was accepted and when. You may ask for a copy of the record of your own acceptance at any time.

4. Your side

Keep the emails and confirmations we send you. Make sure the mailbox you use with us is yours and secured; we treat messages from it as coming from you.

5. Paper

If the law or either side requires a paper signature for a particular document, we will say so before that document is sent.

6. Law

Egyptian law governs. The competent courts of Cairo hear any dispute.
